After a three-day-weekend in which I could enjoy a nice Orienteering Race at Pinhey's Point (I will post the maps asap) and which I spent with cramps in my legs from last Friday's workout I went back to the weight room not feeling like working out at all.
I felt tired so I wasn't really on the mood to workout, but I started doing the Strength part of the workout anyway. I changed my mind instantly: I was feeling good from a moment to another. I got very good sensations while doing the strength part:
- Bench Press @ 125lb, 130lb and 135lb.
-Cleans @ 125lb, 135lb and 155lb (my old max!)
Then I started a workout that was even tougher than it looked on paper. Hooooooly! after the second round I thought I was going to die, but I managed to held myself together until I ran out of time when I was about to do the Burpees of the 5th round. If it were up to me I would have stayed and finished the burpess and the KB swings, but I had to leave for the next class.
It is very impressive for me to see people messing around the weight room saying they are already done with their workout and they are not even sweating or panting...
It does not matter how tired you feel, how sweaty you are, or how far behind from your friends you are...
WORKOUTS ARE MADE TO FINISH THEM
